Making your Website Content SEO friendly
Posted on January 21, 2014 at 2:15 pm
When you’re uploading content to your website and you want to do well in search engine rankings then you need to think about the search engine spiders as well as your audience.
There has to be a balance between writing engaging content and content that is relevant for search engines. You need to determine what you want your website to be relevant for, then you can determine key search phrases and incorporate them into your text, on the relevant pages of course.
So if you’re a cake shop that sells muffins, it may be beneficial to have the search phrase ‘buy muffins’ in your website’s text. Then again if you over do the same phrases, you may be penalised so it’s about fining the balance, and not coming off as ‘spammy’, which will likely be unreadable and engaging for visitors. See if your website has the balance between great content and great SEO.

Why Multilingual SEO is important
Posted on November 26, 2013 at 12:13 pm
For businesses looking to sell, export or reach audiences abroad using the internet, multilingual search engine optimisation (SEO) is a must. It’s not just a case of using a translator to create content for a website targeted towards a different language, the language should be fluent and local.
To have content that is well written and directed to a target audience, you require native speakers and multilingual SEO should involve high quality native speakers for the chosen country you want to reach.
A search term in one language is not always going to be relevant in another, and researching key phrases from scratch is necessary before optimising the content on your website. One benefit you get from native speakers is the ability to talk to be able to engage with the audience like you know them, and that’s what basic translation tools will never be able to do.
If you have a business and you’re looking to grow your business with products in different countries then you will have to start thinking about multilingual SEO. It can improve your website’s ranking and ultimately attract the audience you intend to reach.

Is SEO necessary for small businesses?
Posted on October 15, 2013 at 10:37 am
In short, the answer is yes, and there are many different reasons for this. Today when people want to look for a product or a service, their first though is to look online, and the majority of the time, this will be through the use of search engines.
The fact is, without SEO, a business’s products may not be found, and therefore they will likely end up losing out to competition. For ecommerce websites in particular, SEO is a must. If people can’t find your business, you won’t make any business. Natural search engine placement can be a cheap way of making sure you attract visitors and potentially increase conversions. It ensures that website content is made relevant to search engines, allowing them to offer you a higher search engine ranking for certain search phrases.
SEO can often be confused with a range of other services, such as PPC, which is in fact completely different. PPC allows businesses to create targeted advertisements on search engines, and more recently social media websites. On Google, advertisement swill be placed next to search engine results, but it has no effect on your website’s Google ranking, it’s merely an additional method to attract visitors.
Understanding search engines can be complicated and they are forever changing, experienced web marketing agencies are now becoming increasingly important, even for small businesses, because casual SEO is just not enough, it needs to be constant, and to really succeed a scientific understanding is a must.
